About the event

The first two days of the conference will be held at the Coogee Bay Hotel, right on Coogee Beach. The third day will be a workshop at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders, at Macquarie University. We recommend that visitors stay at Coogee, and we will organise transport from Coogee to Macquarie University and back on day three (more details to come soon).

 

Accommodation in Coogee

Our conference venue in Coogee has both Boutique Style (4 stars) and Pub Style (2 star) accommodation. Please book online or contact the Coogee Bay Hotel directly. There is a conference rate of $229 per night available for Boutique rooms only (Pub style rooms are available at standard rates). To access the conference rate please quote booking number 335603.

Travelling to Australia

Getting to Coogee

A taxi from Sydney International/Domestic Airport to Coogee will take about 25 minutes and cost approximately $30-36.

By public transport, it will take about 40 minutes to get to Coogee from Sydney International/Domestic Airport and cost about $12. (To plan your trip visit: https://www.transportnsw.info/#/).

Take the T2 train line towards City Circle and get off at Green Square Station. Then take the 370 bus towards Coogee. At the station, you can purchase a single Opal ticket or buy a rechargeable Opal card for multiple trips around Sydney (https://www.opal.com.au/).

 

Getting to Macquarie University

If making your own way to Macquarie University on day three, train is the best option. Trains leave all city stations for Macquarie every 15 minutes. Transport information can be found here.
